Common questions about this service
Should we use Wi-Fi 5 or Wi-Fi 6 for our office?
Wi-Fi 6 is faster and more efficient, but Wi-Fi 5 is fine for most small offices. The bigger factor is access point placement and channel planning. We site-survey your office to find the right solution for your space.
What is the difference between a firewall and a router?
A router moves data between networks. A firewall controls what data is allowed. Good firewalls also protect you from attacks and let you create security policies. For business, you want both, often in one device.
Do we need a VPN if everyone is working in the office?
No, if everyone is on-site 100%. But if anyone works remotely — even occasionally — a VPN or secure remote access gives them encrypted access to files and systems without exposing them on the internet.
How secure is our Wi-Fi?
Most small business Wi-Fi is set to WPA2 or WPA3 encryption with a strong password. That is secure. The real vulnerability is usually employees, not the Wi-Fi itself. We help you balance security and usability.
